How to Master your Online Presence
In order for you to step into your fullest potential and show up as the badass woman you are, you need to master your online presence.
This means your branding, website, and all of your social media needs to clearly reflect your mission and the transformation someone will have by working with you.
The key is building your Brand Foundation.
STEP 1: DEFINE YOUR MISSION
Your Mission is your What.
In one sentence you should be able to state what you do, who you do it for, and the transformation they'll achieve by working with you.
STEP 2: KNOW YOUR WHY + VISION
What is the vision for your brand? What do you truly want to create?
Ask yourself WHY and be willing to go deep (like reeaaally deep). Keep asking yourself why, why, why, why, why until you've reached the very core of your essence. This is your purpose — it's what your soul is calling for you to create.
STEP 3: OWN YOUR SUPERPOWER
"Be YOU, everyone else is taken."
There is no one else like you. No one else can do what you do, exactly the way you do it.
You are unbelievably unique and special. You have an innate set of gifts and talents no one else has - and that's your Superpower.
So, what makes you unique? What makes working with you different?
STEP 4: DEFINE YOUR DREAM CLIENT
You NEED to define your soulmate client — the people you absolutely love to work with and light you up inside.
Your dream client is the person that just “gets it”. They should be saying HELL YES to working with you, because you’re the exact answer to their problem. You're an energetic match, you have the same values & interests, and most importantly, they trust you to hold space and honor their unique vision & goals.
Who is your ideal client? (Demographics: Age, gender, location, income, occupation, married/single, do they have kids, etc.)
What are her biggest pain points and struggles? (What stresses them out on a daily? What makes them cry at night?)
What do they really WANT? What are her biggest dreams and desires? (Dig below the superficial ones for these, what does she *really* want?)
What does she NEED? (What does she need in her life RIGHT NOW? What problems is she currently looking to fix?) *hint hint* you're offers should be targeting your dream client's needs & wants.
STEP 5: DESIGN
A brand has to have a design. The basics include a logo, color palette, fonts, textures, patterns, graphics and imagery.
The key here is CONSISTENCY.
Your brand must stay cohesive across all platforms and for that you need to have a set color palette, fonts, logos, graphics, and style of imagery that you use for all of your content.
STEP 6: DEFINE YOUR VOICE
Your brand has a voice.
How you write your copy, the words you use, your tagline, your brand aesthetics all create an experience.
Powerful brands make you FEEL something — they're more than just a name — they're a lifestyle, a way of being, a state of mind, and you're emotionally invested in them.
And just like your designs, your voice should be targeted at your ideal audience. Talk to directly to them — speak their language, use the words that grab their attention, speak to their pains AND to their vision.
STEP 7: SHOW UP CONSISTENTLY
SHOW UP. And show up CONSISTENTLY.
Show up even when you don’t want to.
Breathe through the discomfort and provide value EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
This is how you become a LEADER in your field.
